The Sylvan Family

Welcome to my online home! In these pages you can meet the rest of the members of my family: my beloved wife Laura, and my two wonderful children, Katherine (nearly 18) and Robin (15).

The children are growing up fast! Katherine has graduated from Lincoln High School, a Visual and Performing Arts Magnet school in San Jose. She is planning on attending West Valley College in Saratoga, CA to puruse a music degree. Katherine is very involved with Holy Family Parish in numerous ministries and involved with the Youth Group LifeTeen as an Edge Core Team Leader. She is also a Eucharistic Minister and Lector.

Robin is a 10th grade student will be attending Lincoln High School like his sister. He is active in scouting and has his Life rank in Boy Scouts and is working on his Eagle rank! This summer he is going on a 70 mile/10 day hiking trip in Philmont. Highlights from other summers included the shooting range, camping in Yosemite, Bristlecone Leadership Training Camp, Emerald Bay Summer Camp, and in February, the annual ski/snowboarding trip. He is also active at Holy Family Parish, where he serves as an Altar Server and in the Movement Ministry's Passion Play.
